Hello!

This Sunday is our first ‘fully open’ service where there is no requirement to book to come along. We will still have to maintain social distancing, wear face masks and have no singing or refreshments for the time being. This week will be an All Age Service, with Creche and Sunday School opening up at St. Bartholomew’s the following week. If you’d prefer a table to be put out for your family to sit around just ask.

Parents who are hoping to register their attendance for 2020-21 need to come along in person in June, July and August and sign the attendance register in the foyer. If that is not going to be possible because of health reasons then please get in touch.

Friday Live!

Friday Live! is having a two-week break and restarting on Friday 18th June.

 Creche and Sunday School from the 13th June

To make things smoother when these re-open, the registration form for creche and Sunday school is attached. Please could parents fill it in and send it back to me?

Creche: We’re going to try something a bit different in creche now we’re reopening! We’ll get into a circle and do some singing/dancing/instruments to some Christian kids’ songs. We’ll then have a Bible-related story, followed by some colouring for those who want to and time to play with the toys. One parent will need to come in with their child. Adults will need to wear masks, and the number of adults is currently limited to 10.

Sunday School: There are two Sunday School groups. One for younger school age children (U10s) and one for older children. Under current guidelines over 11s will need to wear masks in church and for Sunday school unless exempt. If you’d like any more info please get in touch.

Reflection

‘Come now, let us settle the matter,’

    says the Lord.

‘Though your sins are like scarlet,

    they shall be as white as snow;

though they are red as crimson,

    they shall be like wool.

Isaiah 1:18

It’s our memory verse of the term. God reaches out and offers to forgive a rebellious people. We can’t clean ourselves up…but God offers to clean our souls from sin.

In Christ,

Chris
