Hello all,

December is here! Let’s remember to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus amongst the clamour of Christmas. We’ve got plenty planned to help you do that.

Sunday Services Toy Service and Gift Day

We’re back to having morning services at both churches. If you’d like to come along, just let me know so we can put a seat out for you, we should have plenty of room. Otherwise, please join us on Zoom.

This Sunday is our Toy Service and Gift Day. Thanks to all who have donated a new, unwrapped toy already. Feel free to drop one off on Sunday morning.  We’re looking forward to Years 3 and 4 from Redeemer School contributing to our service via video at St. Bart’s!

A Call to Pray and Give Gift Day on Sunday

This Sunday is our churches Gift Day. The hope is that as a congregation we can give to make up the financial shortfall for the year. All money we raise will go towards St. Bartholomew’s or Church of the Saviour.

We’re asking people, if possible, to give on top of their usual weekly giving. If you would like to contribute, you can do so in the following ways:

–   Bring cash or a cheque on the day. We will have special Gift Day envelopes available.

– Give via bank transfer using the reference GiftDay.

Reflection

The Son is the radiance of Gods glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.    Hebrews 1:3

Jesus the Son became, and continues to be, both truly God and truly human…The baby in the manger held the atoms of the manger in place by his mighty word. As a human being, he was genuinely weak and vulnerable, but as the divine Lord, he moved the stars across the sky, including the star that signalled his birth. This is the Son’s power.

God bless,

Chris
