Speak to the Vicar about the next Essentials course

Hello and a warm welcome to the Benefice of the Redeemer in Blackburn. It’s great you’ve come to our website and we hope you’ll spend a few minutes to explore.

We’re two Church of England churches, St. Bartholomew’s and The Church of the Saviour in Blackburn, who work together with one vicar and a team of others to serve God together. We offer services accessible to a wide range of people, with five different styles of service across the week. The congregations who attend are from a variety of ages and backgrounds, some have been Christians for a long time and others are just finding out about the Christian faith. Our aim is to know Christ better and make Christ better known.

If you’re new, there is a very special Welcome to you and here may be a good place to start exploring our site.  Everyone is welcome at both Churches and no one excluded so it would be wonderful to see you at one of our services. Exploring this website should help you to find a service suitable for you, and give you some idea of what you might expect when you visit us.  Do please come and join us.
