Church Services
Children are valuable members of our church family. Our aim is to teach them to know Jesus better through understanding His word in the Bible. We pray that our children grow up confident in their faith in Christ, being willing to live it out and share their faith wherever they end up. All our leaders and helpers have DBS (Disclosure and Barrings Service) declarations and any new leaders or helpers will be required to obtain a DBS declaration and the existing Safe from Harm Policy will apply.
Usually we have an All Age Service the first Sunday of the month. This is a shorter service, where we work hard to engage all ages. There is a quiet/feeding room available where parents and children can sit and still hear the service if required.
St. Bartholomew’s
A Creche is offered most other Sundays. This involves some dancing, a Bible story and then craft/play time.
Sunday School is split into two groups following different curriculums:
Reception-Year 5 Teaching Little People: Promised
Year 5 – Year 10 The New City Catechism: The Core Doctrines of the Christian Faith http://newcitycatechism.com/
Church of the Saviour
On Sunday mornings there is a creche room with toys, where you are still able to see and hear the service.
Friday Live! runs weekly 6.30-7.30pm during term time and involves a service and activities for all the family.

The Redeemer CE Primary School
Our school aims to live out the Gospel messages and God’s will each day. We see our outstanding status as a blessing and an opportunity to support and develop others, when we are called to do so. We aim each day to be “doers of the word”, to not stand still but to, “arise and build”. This year we have been designated as a National Teaching School, the first one in Blackburn with Darwen. Together with Wensley Fold Church of England Primary we have formed a teaching school alliance called T.E.A.M. Teaching School ( Together Everyone Achieves More).
